You’ve got your Leaving Cert Results today but what happens next? Here are the key dates you need to know for the next few weeks!
CAO DATES
Monday, August 22nd
On Monday the the CAO releases Round One Offers to students online at 6 am. Students will also receive their offers by post today. Minimum points required for entry to each course will be available from the CAO Website from early morning on this day too.
Monday, August 29th (5.15 pm):
This is the closing date to accept CAO round one offers so make sure to get yours in before this date.
Wednesday, August 31st
The CAO posts Round Two Offers to Students to arrive by post on Thursday 1st September. (Closing date to accept Round Two Offers is Wednesday September 7th)
UCD Dates:
Thursday, 25th August
New incoming students can begin Step 1 of their online registration with UCD. (You can start this step three days after accepting your offer to UCD)
Wednesday, 31st August
Incoming students can book their module registration time between 8am & 1pm
Thursday, 1st September
Module registration begins for incoming students. This is where you register for the classes you will take in first year.
Friday, 2nd September
This is the deadline for uploading your UCARD (UCD Student Card) photo. Make sure you pick a nice photo it has to last you three or four years!!
Monday, 5th September to Friday 9th September
UCD Orientation Week takes place between these dates. Each course has specific days you will need to come on to campus for. You can find your Orientation Week timetable here.
Monday, 12th September
You will join over 32,000 students on campus as the academic teaching term starts on campus! Don’t forget your UCD Scarf on your first day!
